At Lumen Energy Consulting we take the protection of your personal data very seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, for what purpose, on what legal basis and what rights you have, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and the guarantee of digital rights (LOPDGDD).

2. Data we process
We only process the data you provide voluntarily and that which is strictly necessary to provide our energy advisory service:
- Contact data: name, email, phone and the message you send us through the contact form.
- Energy supply data: the information contained in the electricity or gas bills you choose to share so we can carry out the savings analysis (contract holder, CUPS, consumption, contracted power, amounts and current supplier).
- Browsing data: technical information collected via cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie policy).
3. Purposes and legal basis
- Handling your request and preparing your savings analysis — legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures and the data subject’s consent (art. 6.1.a and 6.1.b GDPR).
- Managing the client relationship and the provision of the service — legal basis: performance of the contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Sending you communications about the energy sector or our services, if you authorise us — legal basis: consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR).
- Complying with legal obligations (tax, accounting) — legal basis: legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR).
4. Data retention
We will keep your data for as long as the relationship lasts and, once it ends, for the periods required by applicable law to address possible liabilities. When the data is no longer necessary, it will be deleted using measures that guarantee its complete destruction.
5. Recipients
Your data will not be shared with third parties except where legally required. To provide the service we may share the essential information with energy suppliers in order to obtain and process offers on your behalf, always with your authorisation. We may also use technology providers (hosting, email and form management) that act as data processors under the corresponding contract.
6. Your rights
You may exercise at any time your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, as well as withdraw your consent, by writing to us at info@lumenenergyconsulting.com, stating the right you wish to exercise. If you believe your rights have not been properly addressed, you may file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
7. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk and to protect your data against loss, alteration or unauthorised access.
