Our story

Lumen Energy Consulting was born from a conviction

For years, we’ve watched SMEs, shops and large companies accept inflated electricity and gas bills without questioning them. Not for lack of interest, but because the energy market is complex, opaque and constantly changing. And suppliers know it.

We decided to put our sector experience at the service of those who need it most: the people who pay the bills. We don’t represent any supplier. We don’t sell energy. We are independent, and that independence is what allows us to always look for the best price for you, for both electricity and gas.

From Valencia, we advise businesses and homes across Spain. Because saving on your electricity and gas bill shouldn’t depend on your postcode.

Founder and Director

Juan Carlos Mora

With extensive experience in the Spanish energy sector, Juan Carlos Mora has dedicated his career to understanding the inner workings of the electricity and gas market: from the structure of tariffs to the dynamics of negotiating with suppliers.

His philosophy is clear: the energy advisor must always be on the client’s side, never on the supplier’s. That’s why he founded Lumen Energy Consulting as a 100% independent advisory, with no ties to any electricity or gas company.

When he’s not analysing tariffs, Juan Carlos takes an active part in industry forums and business networking events, and collaborates with specialist media to bring energy knowledge closer to businesses and homes.
